Complete Book Keeping has been serving Ringwood since 2003, and the AAT external exam centre side gives you a proper bit of credibility. Thing is, the site doesn't give people much to act on, no pricing, no testimonials, no clear booking path. Trust me i see this a lot, it's like having a tidy office with the door shut.

That's the bit i sort, so the experience you've already built turns into more enquiries, with a site people trust and can actually use. No hidden fees, the price quoted is the price paid:)

Hey Donna,

The cloud accounting angle on Complete Book Keeping is a good hook, especially with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and QuickFile all on the page. At the minute though, it reads more like a service list than a reason to get in touch, which is usually where the enquiries slip away.

I’d turn that into a clearer path for the right people, so someone landing on the site knows exactly what you do and how to start. Same straight-talking approach, just a site that earns its keep.

Hey Donna,

Being established since 2003 is a strong bit of proof, and the ICO, MLR and AAT bits all help too. The trouble is, none of that gets pulled forward hard enough on the site, so the trust is there but it’s not doing much work.

I’d put that front and centre and make the enquiry path dead simple, so people get confidence fast instead of clicking away. Bit like having a spotless shopfront but no sign in the window, not ideal.

Is the site a priority at the minute or one of those one day jobs?

Hey Donna,

Complete Book Keeping does a lot more than basic bookkeeping, virtual accounting, payroll, financial controller support, the lot. That’s useful, but the site doesn’t really separate the services or give people a clear next step, so it’s doing half the job.

I’d sort the structure so the right service is easy to find and the contact route is obvious, then the website starts helping rather than just sitting there. No fluff, just something that brings in better enquiries.

If the site brought in a few better-fit leads a month, would that be worth fixing now?

I’ve had another look at Complete Book Keeping and the same thing stands out, the site explains what you do, but it doesn’t push people to enquire. That’s usually the bit that costs decent firms the most.

I can leave it there if now’s not the time, no drama. If you do want the site to work harder later on, i’m around.
