Friend-James being in Brighton since 1906 is a proper bit of trust on the page, but there’s not much there to help someone decide to actually get in touch. No pricing, no testimonials, no clear service detail, just a contact form. Trust me i see this a lot, it’s like having a decent shopfront with the lights on but the door half shut.

That’s the bit i sort, so the experience you’ve already built turns into more enquiries, with a site you can be proud of and no hidden fees, the price quoted is the price paid.

Hey John,

The fact Friend-James has been around since 1906 is a strong bit of credibility, but the site doesn’t really carry that weight through. There’s no case studies, no reviews, and not much on the services themselves, so a visitor has to do a bit too much guessing. Trust me i see this a lot, it’s like a good accountant with no nameplate on the door.

I’d build the site around what makes you different, then make it easier for people to contact you without hunting about. Nothing flashy, just clear pages that do their job and bring in better leads.

Is the website something you want to improve this year, or is it still ticking along fine as it is?

Hey John,

Friend-James clearly has the history and the professional side covered, especially with that long Brighton presence, but the website is doing very little with it. No pricing, no educational content, no strong next step, so someone comparing firms has to work harder than they should. Trust me i see this a lot, it’s a bit like having a tidy accounts file with the key tabs missing.

I’d put the firm’s experience front and centre, then give visitors a simple path to enquire, without the fluff. No hidden fees, no nonsense, just a site that feels solid and actually earns its keep.

When someone lands on the site, what do you want them to do first?

Hey John,

For a firm with roots going back to 1906, Friend-James deserves a site that says that straight away. At the minute it feels a bit light, especially with no testimonials, no service detail, and no booking option to catch someone while they’re ready. Trust me i see this a lot, it’s like a great old practice with a frosted glass door.

I’d sort the pages, the enquiry flow, and the bits that help people trust you faster, so more of the right visitors take the next step. Simple, clean, and built to bring in work.

Hey John,

I’ll keep this short, but Friend-James has enough history and credibility to stand out, the site just isn’t showing it properly. No reviews, no case studies, no clear service pages, so it’s doing less than it should for a Brighton firm with that sort of background.
