Lounds & Co being currently under construction, with just email and phone contact on show, means anyone landing there has to do a bit of guesswork. No pricing, no reviews, no clear next step, that’s usually where enquiries slip away. It’s a bit like having a tidy office with the lights off, people don’t hang about.

Hey Paul,

That “not just number crunchers” angle on Lounds & Co is strong, it gives you a proper human edge, but the site doesn’t back it up with much proof yet. With no pricing, no case studies, and no visible accreditations, people have to take a bit on trust before they pick up the phone.

That’s the bit I’d fix, so the advisory side feels real, not just said. A few clear pages, a couple of short examples, and a proper enquiry path usually do more than another paragraph of waffle.

When someone lands on the site, what do you actually want them to do first?

Hey Paul,

The plain-language approach at Lounds & Co is good, especially for business owners who just want straight answers, not accounting fog. But if the site is still leaning on a phone number and a generic description, it’s doing the job of a brochure, not a proper enquiry tool.

I’d sort the bits that make people feel safe, what you do, who it’s for, a bit of proof, and a clear next step. Same idea as a decent shop front, if the window looks empty, people keep walking.

Is the bigger issue more enquiries, or getting better ones through?

Hey Paul,

Lounds & Co already sounds like the sort of firm that should be easy to trust, especially with the advisory side and the hands-on support you talk about. The problem is the website doesn’t show much beyond the basics, so people have to ring up before they really know what they’re getting.

I’d put the missing bits in place, pricing where it makes sense, a few proof points, and cleaner calls to action, so the site does more of the convincing before you speak to anyone. Nothing fancy, just a proper site that earns its keep.

Is that something you’d want sorted this side of summer, or later on?

I’ll keep this short. Lounds & Co looks like it has the right advisory angle, it just isn’t showing enough of it online yet.

If the site stays as it is, you’ll keep relying on people already willing to ring and ask. If you want the website to do a bit more of the convincing first, that’s the bit I’d change.

Worth parking this for now, or should I send over a simple plan?
