Saw SWB Business Solutions supports more than 500 clients and covers annual accounts, VAT, payroll and bookkeeping, which is solid, but the site doesn’t give people much to work with beyond a phone call and a free consultation. Trust me i see this a lot, it’s like having a tidy office with the lights off, people know you’re there but they’re not sure what to do next.

That’s the bit i sort, adding pricing, a few proper proof points, and a clear way to enquire so the site actually pulls its weight. No hidden fees, just the price quoted, and a site you can be proud of:) 

Are you happy with how many enquiries the site brings in right now, or is it doing more sitting there than helping?

The other thing i noticed on SWB Business Solutions is there’s no pricing on the site at all, so anyone comparing accountants has to guess. That usually costs enquiries, because people don’t want to ring three firms just to find out if they’re in the right ballpark.

A simple pricing page, even if it starts with starting-from figures or clear package ranges, does a lot of the heavy lifting for you. Same with a proper enquiry form, it saves the back and forth and gets the right people to you quicker.

Would it be useful if the site did a bit more of that work before someone picked up the phone?

Hey Steven,

SWB Business Solutions has the testimonials and the client count, but not much else on the site to back up the service pages, no case studies, no accreditations, no real detail on how you work. For an accountancy firm, that’s a bit like handing someone a business card and hoping they trust the rest.

I’d add a few short case studies and stronger service pages around accounts, tax and payroll, then give visitors an easy form to use instead of making them call every time. It makes the site feel more complete, and usually gets more of the right enquiries through.

Do you ever get people landing on the site and still not quite knowing why they should choose you?

Hey Steven,

Last one from me, SWB Business Solutions clearly does the work, but the website still leans hard on the phone and a free consultation. That’s fine, but it leaves a lot of good enquiries to chance if someone wants to compare you, check pricing, or send a quick message after hours.

I’d put the basics in place, pricing, proof, and a proper lead form, then let the site do a bit more of the chasing for you. Simple stuff, but it makes a difference.

Is improving the website something you want to sort this year, or is it staying on the back burner for now?
