Hey John,

Potter Finnegan’s site does a good job of sounding approachable, but there’s not much there to help someone choose you over the next accountant, no pricing, no testimonials, no clear service detail pages. Trust me i see this a lot, it’s a bit like having a tidy office with the door half shut, people just keep walking.

That’s the bit i sort, so the credibility you already have turns into more enquiries. Plain site, clear proof, better contact path, no hidden fees, and the price quoted is the price paid:)

Hey John,

The “Approachable | Accessible | Accountable” line on Potter Finnegan is solid, but it still leaves a prospect doing the guesswork. For accountancy, that’s a bit like handing someone a set of keys with no label on them, they’re not sure which one opens the door.

I’d put the useful stuff front and centre, what you do, who it’s for, and why someone should trust you to handle the numbers. Then the site starts doing a bit more of the selling before they ever pick up the phone.

Would clearer service pages and proof be useful, or is the site already doing enough for you?

Hey John,

What stood out on Potter Finnegan is how little the site gives away before someone contacts you, no pricing, no testimonials, no case studies, not even much detail on the services. That makes comparison harder than it needs to be.

For a firm like yours, a few straight answers on the site can do a lot of heavy lifting. People relax when they can see the shape of the service, even if the final numbers vary. Same idea as an accountant talking through the figures instead of leaving them buried in the back of the pack.

Do you want the site to do more of that work, or are most enquiries coming in another way?

Hey John,

Potter Finnegan already has the basics in place, but at the minute the site feels more like a contact point than a proper enquiry tool. For a chartered practice, that’s a shame, because the trust is there, it just isn’t backed up with enough proof.

I’d be looking at simple things, a few genuine client wins, clearer service pages, and a stronger nudge to get in touch. Nothing fancy, just enough to stop people hesitating.

If someone lands on the site today, what do you actually want them to do?

I’ll keep this short. Potter Finnegan has the right foundations, it just doesn’t say enough to turn more of the right visitors into enquiries.

If improving that ever becomes a priority, i can sort the site side, the proof, and the bits that make people actually get in touch. If not, no drama at all.
