The bit that’ll be costing you enquiries is the site itself, there’s no pricing, no proper case study proof, and that page not found message doesn’t exactly build confidence, trust me i see this a lot, it’s like having a sharp front desk with no one behind it.

That’s the bit i sort, so the work you already do looks the part and actually gets picked up. Clean site, clear reasons to enquire, no hidden fees, the price quoted is the price paid:)

Hey Neil,

Calmax Accountancy already has the right ingredients, licensed trade specialist, over 20 years experience, and a solid list of services, but the site doesn’t give people much to go on before they contact you. No pricing, no case studies, and the testimonials are tucked away, so a lot of visitors will just drift off.

I’d put the proof and the next step right where people can see it, then make sure the site does a better job of turning interest into actual enquiries. Nothing flashy, just a site that earns its keep.

Hey Neil,

That “Page not found” bit on Calmax Accountancy’s site is a small thing, but it’s the sort of thing people notice, especially when they’re weighing up who to trust with bookkeeping, payroll or tax. Add in the lack of pricing and case studies, and the site ends up asking for confidence without giving much back.

I’d fix that by putting a few real examples and a clear route to get in touch on the site, so the licensed trade expertise you already have does more of the heavy lifting.

Hey Neil,

Calmax Accountancy is clearly doing the work, weekly bookkeeping, monthly management accounts, HMRC filings, the lot, but the website doesn’t make it easy for a new client to say yes. Trust signals are light, there’s no visible pricing, and the calls to action are pretty thin on the ground.

I’d sort the front end so it feels more like a proper shop front than a brochure left on the counter, then make it easier for people to enquire without chasing.

Would it be worth adding a few stronger proof points, or are referrals doing most of the work for you?

Last one from me, then i’ll leave you in peace. Calmax Accountancy has a decent base, but the site still leaves a bit too much to chance for anyone who doesn’t already know you.

If you ever want the website to do a better job of turning the licensed trade expertise and those accounting services into enquiries, that’s the bit i’d tackle first.
