The free introductory meeting on Bellamy, Steele & Co Limited stands out, and the fact you’ll meet clients at their home or office in King’s Lynn is a proper plus. The site itself is very static though, no pricing guidance, no testimonials, no clear next step, so people have to do a bit too much guessing. Trust me i see this a lot, it’s like a shop with the lights on but the door half shut.

That’s the bit i sort, so the trust you already have turns into more enquiries, with a site people can actually use, no hidden fees, price quoted is the price paid:)

Are you happy with how many enquiries it brings in right now, or is it one of those jobs that keeps slipping down the list?

The lack of testimonials or case studies on Bellamy, Steele & Co Limited makes a bigger difference than most people think, especially in accountancy where people want a bit of reassurance before they pick up the phone. Right now the site leans heavily on static text, so it explains what you do, but it doesn’t really back it up.

I build sites that give people a reason to trust you sooner, so they’re more likely to enquire instead of drifting off to the next firm. Simple stuff, done properly, no hidden fees, price quoted is the price paid:)

Hello Stuart,

You’ve already got a decent trust signal in being a Chartered Institute of Taxation member, which is worth more than a lot of firms realise, but the website doesn’t make enough of it. There’s no clear service breakdown, no online booking, and no real push to turn that credibility into action.

That’s where i come in, a better structure, clearer calls to action, and the sort of page that makes it easier for someone to say yes. Nothing fancy, just a site that earns its keep.

Is the website meant to bring in more new clients, or mainly sit there and look presentable?

The free initial meeting is a good offer, but at the moment it’s doing a lot of the heavy lifting on its own. Without pricing guidance, reviews, or a proper service rundown, people have to work too hard to decide whether to get in touch.

I’d fix that with a site that answers the obvious questions up front, so fewer visitors disappear before they contact you. Same business, just better at turning interest into enquiries, no hidden fees, price quoted is the price paid:)

Would it be useful to make the site do more of the selling for you, or are you already getting enough through the door?

I’ll leave it there, but Bellamy, Steele & Co Limited does have the sort of personal setup that should work well online, it just needs the website to show it a bit better. At the minute it’s more brochure than enquiry tool.

If improving that ever becomes a priority, i can sort the lot without the usual agency nonsense, just a clean site that helps people get in touch.

Is now the wrong time, or should i leave you to it?
