Your site positions Foster & Co Limited as chartered accountants, but it only really asks people to call or email for more. No service detail, no pricing, no clear next step, and that makes the whole thing a bit harder work than it needs to be. Trust me, i see this a lot, it’s like having a tidy office with the door half shut.

I’d sort the site so the services, proof and enquiry path do the heavy lifting, and the price quoted is the price paid, no hidden bits. Nothing flashy, just something you can be proud of that actually brings enquiries in:) 

Is the site a priority at the minute or one of those “later on” jobs?

The testimonial from Blue Wren Ltd is a good start, but at the moment it’s doing a lot of work on its own. With no service pages, no pricing and no real explanation of what Foster & Co Limited can help with, people are left guessing a bit.

I’d give each main service its own page, add a few proper proof points, and make it dead easy to enquire without faffing about. Same idea as a good accountant’s letter, clear, calm, no surprises.

When someone lands on the site, what do you actually want them to do first?

Being chartered accountants with 15+ years serving a client is worth saying properly, not just tucked away in a line of text. Right now the site is so sparse it doesn’t really give that experience much room to breathe.

That’s where I’d step in, more detail on the services, a few stronger trust signals, and a cleaner path to get in touch. It’s a bit like handing over a set of accounts with the key pages missing, people can tell something’s off straight away.

Would a fuller site actually help, or are referrals still doing most of the work?

Hi Jill,

The site already has the basics, but it doesn’t do much to turn a visitor into an enquiry. No booking, no clear service list, no real reason to choose Foster & Co Limited over the next firm they click on.

I’d build that out so the right people can see what you do, why you’re trusted, and how to get hold of you without hunting around. Simple stuff, but it makes a proper difference.

How are enquiries coming in at the moment, steady enough or a bit patchy?

I’ll leave this there after this one. Foster & Co Limited has the bones of a solid accountancy site, it just doesn’t say enough yet for someone new to feel confident picking up the phone.

If it’s not on your list, no drama, i know these things sit around for ages while the real work gets done.

Is this something you want to improve this year, or should i stop pestering you?
