Saw Samuelson & Co in Dalston Kingsland, proper solid spot for a firm doing accounts, payroll and tax. i bet keeping new SME work coming in is the bit that gets pushed down the list when client work is busy. That's where i come in.

I use a system i built to find the right local businesses who genuinely need an accountant and send each one a proper tailored email, not a blanket one, quietly in the background so you're not chasing. I use it myself, if i didn't think it worked i wouldn't put my own name on it.

Your mix of company accounts, VAT, payroll and self assessment is a nice broad spread, and it gives me a good read on who you'd want more of. i bet the hard bit is not the work itself, it's getting the right businesses to actually reply.

I can find local prospects that fit what Samuelson & Co does, then send each one a direct intro email from you, one by one, in the background, so it keeps moving without you having to sit on it. i use it myself, if i didn't think it worked i wouldn't risk my own name on it.

Dalston Kingsland is a good base for an accountancy firm, especially with the mix of SMEs, start-ups and established businesses around Hackney. i bet there are plenty of local companies that would use a steady accountant if they heard from you in the right way.

You mention business formation as well as the usual accounting and tax work, which usually means there are a few good angles to open new doors from. i think that mix is useful, because it gives a clear reason to get in front of the right people early.
