Saw GS Accountants in Durham, and the VAT Returns, Payroll, Accounts side is a solid mix. i bet finding more of the right local clients is the bit that gets pushed aside when you’re busy.

I use a system i built to find the right local businesses who genuinely need an accountant and send each one a proper tailored email, not a blanket one, quietly in the background so you’re not chasing. I use it myself, if i didn't think it worked i wouldn't put my own name on it.

is it a priority right now?

What i do is find the local businesses most likely to need your kind of support, then send each one a direct intro from you, one by one, in the background. No broad blast, just the right names.
